Founded in 2023, Double Take is an online platform that brings together profiles of professionals and experts from all fields to open new horizons for the next generation. Our mission is to foster meaningful dialogue between teenagers and adults, offer fresh perspectives on perceived challenges, and provide insight into what lies ahead for students.

Created by teenagers, for teenagers, Double Take is committed to nurturing passion, hope, and motivation in a world where many students feel uncertain or uninspired. We aim to redefine the narrative by sharing the knowledge and experiences of today’s leaders, thus inspiring tomorrow’s leaders to innovate with the future in mind and break the cycle of stagnation.

Through conversations with leaders across industries, Double Take encourages young people to question what we've come to accept, and to see the world -- and themselves -- with fresh eyes. Because sometimes, all it takes to change something is to stop, look again, and take a double take.

Scarlet Dennis, a high school senior in New York City, is the founder of Double Take, a platform designed to connect teens with global leaders to encourage dialogue across generations. Honored by the New York State Senate for her impactful work, Scarlet is dedicated to reimagining youth engagement. She is currently leading a research project focused on international campaigns to create real, actionable models that enable young people to ignite sustainable change in their communities. With a curiosity for systems, a comfort in discomfort, and a belief that progress starts with exposure to new ideas, people, and experiences, Scarlet is fostering spaces where students can think critically, act boldly, and envision new futures together.
